What does “hybrid creative director” mean?
It means I come from both a copywriting and art direction background.
After film school, a mix of delusion and an inability to say no led to such a variety of work that I developed copy, storytelling, and messaging skills alongside direct, hands-on design experience. Kerning, set design, and illustration became just as important as the flow of my story, script, or headline.
Essentially I wore all the hats until I developed the skillset to teach others, build a team, and trust in the magic of collaboration.
